By submitting Media, you consent to and grant Auntie Bellum a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, revocable, limited license to use, reproduce, and publicly display the submitted Media on the Site, including Auntie Bellum’s websites, social media, and/or in any and all blog postings, whether currently existing or future developments. Auntie Bellum will make reasonable attempts, but is not obligated, to properly identify Media with attribution wherever and whenever used on the Site.
User Generated Content
Media, along with comments that users may also post on the Site, constitute “User Generated Content”. By uploading, posting, commenting or sharing any User Generated Content on the Site, you consent to and grant Auntie Bellum a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, revocable, limited license to use, reproduce, and publicly display the submitted User Generated Content on the Site, including Auntie Bellum’s websites, social media, and/or in any and all blog postings, whether currently in existence or future developments.
Copyright Infringement Claims
Pursuant to Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(2), notifications of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to the designated agent. ALL INQUIRIES NOT RELEVANT TO OR NOT COMPLYING WITH THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE WILL RECEIVE NO RESPONSE.
Auntie Bellum respects the intellectual property rights of others. We do not knowingly permit anyone to post materials on the Site where such posting would violate copyright or other applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) (including 17 USC § 512). Auntie Bellum will process and investigate notices of alleged infringement and will take appropriate actions under the DMCA and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Upon receipt of notices complying with the DMCA, Auntie Bellum will act to remove or disable access to any material found to be infringing or found to be the subject of infringing activity and will act to remove or disable access to any reference or link to material or activity that is found to be infringing.
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide Auntie Bellum the following information. Please be advised that to be effective, the notification must include ALL of the following:
- a physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive copyright that is allegedly infringed;

The Site: The Site, including but not limited to all websites, digital platforms and social media profiles affiliated and operated by Auntie Bellum may be protected by trade dress, copyright, moral rights, trademark and other proprietary rights. You are not entitled to duplicate, retransmit, create derivative works of, distribute, display or perform any portion or element of the Site and its content without the express permission of Auntie Bellum, or, in the case of content not owned by Auntie Bellum but appearing on the Site, by the owner of such content. The Site and all related rights shall remain the exclusive property of Auntie Bellum or the respective owner thereof unless otherwise expressly agreed. Any unauthorized use of content appearing on the Site may violate copyright, trademark, privacy and publicity laws.
Trademarks: “Auntie Bellum”, “Auntie Bellum Magazine”, and “Auntie Bellum Mag” are federally registered trademarks owned by Auntie Bellum. Apart from the marks, the Site features other trademarks owned by Auntie Bellum as well as other trademarks owned by third parties. Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on this website without the written permission of its respective owner. Your use of the trademarks displayed on the Site, including all digital platforms, websites and social media profiles, except as provided in these Terms, is strictly prohibited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina. Any controversies or disputes arising out of these Terms shall be settled first by mediation in Columbia, SC. In the event mediation is unsuccessful, then the parties agree to submit the dispute to arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any arbitral proceedings shall take place in Columbia, SC. Any judgment awarded in arbitration may be entered in any court having jurisdiction to do so.
Amendments to Terms
Auntie Bellum reserves the right to change these Terms without notice.
